In this exercise you will collaborate with your team to do OOA&D on a basic example problem. This will help you to understand the OOA&D process and the skills and diagram types it uses.

The problem is to create a special-purpose editor for helping people to generate use-case diagrams. An example of a use-case diagram appears as “3.53.3 Example” on the next page (it is from the official UML 1.3 Specification manual).

First, define use case(s), then define the domain model, then define interaction diagram(s), and finally define design class diagrams. The relevant portion of the notes for lecture 6 are attached.

If the complete problem is too large, bite off an appropriate chunk.
